From raising their quality assurance score to creating community outreach programs, one of our long time customers doesn't hesitate to talk about the benefits of working with Voice Products and NICE.
The Allen County 911 Communication Center first came on board back in 2004 when the center was under the Police Department for Communications and called Iola P.D. Now a 4th Generation NICE/Voice Products customer, it continues to embrace new technology.
"We've used a NICE Recorder for longer than I've been there," explains Angela Murphy who became the Director of 911 Communications in 2008. She's now the Emergency Management Director as well. "When I took the job 11 years ago we had a NICE recorder and I replaced it, I think, twice now. We've liked everything about NICE, we continue to use that product and we don't ever look anywhere else."
Allen County is in rural southeast Kansas and the 911 center takes more than 55,000 calls a year, dispatching for police, fire and EMS. According to Murphy, NICE has helped improve the center's 911 Quality Assurance by allowing staff to play back calls for training. And whenever she needs help, Murphy doesn't hesitate to reach out to us here at Voice Products.
" They're very friendly, when I put in a service ticket I usually have two or three techs reaching back out to make sure everything is working," she says. "The whole entire team is amazing."
